The 2020 Clean Water Project closed out with borehole commissioning ceremonies and the formal handover to stakeholders and beneficiaries as project stewards, marking an important milestone in the sustainable provision of water supply in underserved communities.
The project which was designed to increase the availability of basic water, sanitation and hygiene services in primary health centres and public schools, led to the installation of 13 boreholes and the training of 148 health and education workforce on safe WASH practices in Oyo and Delta state. The project directly impacted over 6000 beneficiaries in 13 communities.
